How to Prepare for Auditions
Attire: Dress for Success!!! Wear whatever you feel confident and comfortable in.
What to expect: Expect to meet industry professionals. Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to audition time. Expect to be at the audition for 2-3 hours. This process takes time so please wait quietly until your name is called.
What to bring: Bring a picture of yourself, it doesn’t have to be a professional headshot just something that we can have to remember who you are. If you are under 18 you need to bring a legal guardian.
Singers: You will be asked to sing one song, accapella and don’t forget to give it your heart and soul.
Dancers: Bring your own music and be prepared to dance.
Actors: You will be given a cold read so you don’t have to memorize anything or have a monologue prepared.
Models: Just bring yourself! You specifically should be dressed as nice as possible. Girls should wear a skirt so we can see your legs (no micro-mini’s). Models will be asked to walk the “runway”. Don’t worry if you’ve never done this before you will be instructed as to what to do.
You can audition for more than one category show us all that you can do!
The talent scouts will interview everyone this is not time to be shy. Speak up and answer all their questions as best you can with well thought out answers. Auditions are a time for you to shine. It is time to have fun and to be the best that you can be!
