NOVA MODEL AND TALENT SCOUTS N

AMED AS FIRST USA  AND CANADIAN NATIONAL DIRECTOR

(Hollywood, Calif., August 22, 2005) --- Griff O’Neil, one-time executive with the Miss Universe Pageant and President of the World Championships of Performing Arts, often cited as the official “Talent Olympics” stated, “It is with great pride to announce the appointment of Nova Model and Talent Scouts from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho as the first national directorship for America and Canada!  We have waited these past eight years to find the right organization for the United States of America and Canada, and it was certainly worth the wait!”

The responsibilities of a national directorship are similar to that provided by other prestigious international projects such as the Miss Universe Pageant, the Olympics, etc.  Nova shall act as the exclusive scouting agency to select, prepare and organize Team USA and Team Canada for the World Championships.  “Athletes have their Olympics… now aspiring performing artists have their World Championships” states Ms. Tami Smith, President of Nova.  She continues, “We are setting up auditions and training centers in the top 50 U.S. TV markets and all 50 states in order to find the very best talent to field and represent our great county annually at this prestigious international meet held annually in ‘Hollywood, the entertainment capital of the world’!  In Canada, we are focusing on selections from the 10 provinces.”

Over 75,000 participants worldwide are expected to apply for this global event.  Ultimately, screened and selected contestants from 50 countries will be invited to compete in dancing, singing, modeling, acting, instrumentals and variety at the 10th annual World Championships of Performing Arts, August 5 – 13, 2006.  $50,000 worth of scholarships will be awarded to various contestants selected exclusively by the President and staff of famed School for Film and Television in New York.  Over 100 persons from the entertainment industry (agents, managers, casting directors, record label reps) will be invited to judge, conduct educational seminars and “go-sees” during the jam-packed week of activities before the main prizes are awarded – “gold” medals, official WorldStars champion trophies and plaques, and the top prizes of all… “Junior and Senior Grand Champion Performers of the World”!  However every contestant is a “winner”… the networking opportunities are inestimable, the competition experience is beyond belief, accurate information about the industry is obtained through invaluable seminars, and the friendships made with talent throughout the world are priceless!
